I saw him run in Montreal, and it was a striking scene to be watching this man with one leg doing a marathon every day, when I’d never ran a marathon in my life! It was mind-boggling, and it was probably one of the elements that got me really interested in the field of cancer and the importance of research. That memory continues to this day. I’m very proud to be a part of that.”
